We are looking for you to join our team as a **Senior Principal Supply Chain Planning Specialist** based on-site in **Sunnyvale, CA.**
The Senior Principal Supply Chain Planning Specialist supports the portfolio of **Conventional Prompt Strike** , Launch System programs.
What you will get to do:
+ Ensure consistent Material Finance reporting
+ Responsible for forecasting and driving monthly Material Receipt
+ Responsible for working with Global Supply Chain, Engineering, Operations, Integrated Program Teams, and Program Office to forecast material costs.
+ Responsible for creating a material baseline and working with Business Management to meet monthly Earned Value requirements, variance reporting, and Rout cause and corrective actions.
+ Responsible for providing Monthly Current Material Estimates at completions (CME's)
+ Analyze and aggregate supply/demand requirements
+ Responsible for the assessment of supply resources; aggregates and prioritizes demand requirements; plans inventory, distribution requirements, production, material and rough-cut capacity for all products
+ Participate in make/buy process, long-term capacity and resource planning; product phase-in/phase-out, manufacturing ramp-up, end-of-life management and product-line management
+ Analyze and aggregates supply / demand requirements
+ Analyze purchase material supply/demand position using Material Requirement Planning (MRP) tools
+ Plan inventory levels based on dependent and independent Bill-of-Materials (BOM) requirements
+ Create/reduce supply requirements based on inventory adjustments
+ Participate in long-term capacity and resource planning to ensure proper scheduling of new product line phase-ins as well as existing product line phase-outs
+ Interface with Source process area regarding inventory levels, working capital and other areas as needed
+ Communicate with suppliers for lead times, and delivery times. Actively resolves and communicates and works to resolve issues
+ Receive/review requirements for non-standard parts
+ Analyze lead times and identify critical path procurements
The ideal candidate will have experience managing complex issues and problems related to program execution
Basic qualifications for a Sr. Principal Supply Chain Planning Specialist:
+ Bachelor’s degree and a minimum of 8 years of relevant experience in supply chain and/or business management; OR a Master’s Degree and 6 or more years of relevant experience in supply chain and/or business management; OR 12 years of relevant experience in supply chain and/or business management in lieu of a degree
+ Experience in Forecasting and Variance Analysis
+ Experience in leading and accountability of a small team
+ Experience tracking material orders and supplier coordination
Preferred Qualifications for a Sr. Principal Supply Chain Planning Specialist:
+ Experience with SAP and material demand
+ The ability to obtain a Department of Defense (DoD) Secret Clearance
+ Experience with Earned Value Management
+ Experience in the Aerospace industry
+ Experience in interpreting technical drawings and specs
Salary Range: $113,500.00 - $170,300.00
The above salary range represents a general guideline; however, Northrop Grumman considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate's experience, education, skills and current market conditions.
Depending on the position, employees may be eligible for overtime, shift differential, and a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives. In addition, Northrop Grumman provides a variety of benefits including health insurance coverage, life and disability insurance, savings plan, Company paid holidays and paid time off (PTO) for vacation and/or personal business.
