    Description: An Operations Support job in Graniteville, South Carolina is currently available through Belcan at one of our key aerospace clients. To be considered for this role, you will have a degree in Computer Information Technology or similar with 1-2 years of exp. of relevant experience in a production environment.

    Job Duties:

    • Provide IT support for deployed IT systems via phone, email, and other remote support.

    • Provide 2nd level end user support and collaborate with other 2nd and 3rd level supporters for issue resolution/solutions.

    • Provide 2nd level support for all telecommunication, network, and server hardware & systems.

    • Assist with the deployment, configuration, and installation of end user client devices such as PCs, PC peripherals or accessories, printers, handheld mobile devices, desk phones, and any other devices.

    • Maintain assurance policy and procedural compliance with customer IT policies and procedures.

    • Manage work through customer IT service desk ticket system for all incidents and service requests.

    • Work with local facilities and assigned staff to complete tasks such as installation and troubleshooting of IT equipment.

    • Provide 2nd level support for Voice over IP (VoIP) systems, and when necessary, provide assistance to other 2nd and 3rd level supporters for troubleshooting.

    • Manage and maintain IT assets and inventory using customer asset and inventory systems.

    Required Qualifications:

    • High School diploma is required

    • On-site work at customer facility in Aiken, South Carolina is required.

    • Able to work autonomously with minimal oversight.

    • Normal work hours are 8:00am to 5:00pm. However, candidate must be able to frequently work a staggered day shift (aka 12:00pm to 8:30pm if necessary).

    • Able to work with customer users and help them identify, solve, and utilize the updates and/or new systems.

    • Multi-task and prioritize support for multiple users simultaneously.

    • Ability to follow and upkeep / maintain well documented deployment policies, procedures and methods - including ticket systems for processing requests.

    • Able to support a diverse set of deployed and new office systems (windows based and IOS based) - desktops, laptops, mobile devices, tablets, printers, virtual machines, networking and communications.

    Preferred Qualifications & Skills:

    • Bachelor or Associate's degree in Computer Information Technology is preferred

    • Certifications in CompTIA A+ and/or CompTIA Net+

    • Interpersonal skills to help users identify and clarify their needs and/or requirements.

    • Ability to use multiple communication paths to engage and effectively communicate with local leadership as well as customers.

    • Writing skills to enable proper project communications, reporting, monitoring and controls.

    • Able to hold critical conversations with users who are seeking enhancements.

    • Able to implement solutions that are compliant with customer deployment and support requirements while providing a customer pleasing experience with requests that are not within customer scope - and help the user be able to seek approvals within their own systems.

     

    We provide a competitive pay and benefits package. This position is offering a salary range of $50,000 to $90,000. Belcan considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to education, experience, geographic location, and discipline.
