Join the Nationwide Auto Services team! Position Overview The Senior Accountant role is a full-time, in-office position located at our corporate headquarters in Carrollton, TX. This role supports the Accounting and Operations teams by reconciling daily field operations data, assisting with payroll preparation, managing financial records, and coordinating expense reporting. The ideal candidate will be highly organized, detail-oriented, and comfortable working in a fast-paced environment with evolving processes. Duties and Responsibilities Perform daily reconciliation of field operations hours and expenses, working closely with field supervisors and operations staff to verify accuracy. Audit time and expense submissions for accuracy, completeness, and compliance with company policies; escalate discrepancies to management for resolution. Assist with payroll activities by confirming, entering, and adjusting time records as necessary. Manage credit card expense submissions, ensuring receipts are properly uploaded, coded, and approved. Maintain and update tracking databases related to travel, timekeeping, and project expenses. Support monthly closing activities by preparing reconciliations, assisting with journal entries, and organizing financial documentation. Coordinate with field personnel regarding travel-related purchases, lodging receipts, and expense reimbursements; assist with travel audits and vendor communication as needed. Assist with ad hoc accounting projects, audits, and reporting and analysis requests. Perform other administrative or clerical tasks as assigned . Qualifications and Requirements Required: 3+ years of experience in accounting and operationally oriented support roles. Preferred: Intermediate to advanced data/analysis proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel. Strong attention to detail and organizational skills Ability to prioritize and manage multiple deadlines. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Ability to work independently, solve problems, and adapt to evolving processes and systems. Flexibility to occasionally assist with after-hours or weekend tasks. Preferred software experience: Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, NetSuite, SAP, Oracle) Ramp (corporate card management) Airtable (database and workflow management) Other expense tracking or project management software. Education Bachelor s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
