*Description*

*JOB SUMMARY*:

To protect life and property and perform tasks with limited Supervision.

*MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:*High School Graduate or Equivalent, NYS Security Certification, NYS Drivers License.

*Education*: High School Diploma or Equivalent.

*Licensure/Registration/Certification*: NYS Security Guard License (at a minimum, must have completed the 8 hour training course and submitted application for license), NYS Drivers License.

*Work Experience*: Law Enforcement or Security Background.

*Physical & Other Factors*: Three hours sedentary per day. Stands, walks, bends, lifts, assists with morgue detail, and restrains patients during 1x1.

*Work & Environmental Conditions*: Work in and outside hospital. Work outdoors during inclement weather. May come in contact with patients who have infectious diseases.

*Job Relationships*(Responsible to/for, works with): Responsible to Supervisor of Security, Director of Security/Facilities and to Vice President of Facilities.
