SiemensEnergy's Alpharetta Electrical Engineering division is on the lookout for anElectrical Engineer brimming with curiosity and expertise in power electronics,power generation, and power transmission. If you've delved into these realmsthrough study or work experience, we want to hear from you.
In this role,you will be at the forefront of application engineering design, responsible forcrafting Excitation systems, Starting Frequency Converters, and protectionsystems! From conceptualization to finalization, you'll be instrumental inensuring flawless power generation applications.
How You’llMake an Impact (responsibilities)
+ **Lead projects from initiation tothe timely delivery of turnover documents with efficiency.**
+ **Collaborate with both internal andexternal customers, alongside specialized engineers from diverse fields,to ensure project completion.**
+ **Occasionally travel topower-generating facilities for data collection on existing systems.**
+ **Offer assistance to customersconcerning various types of excitation equipment.**
+ **Deliver crucial support andtraining to fellow specialist Engineers.**
+ **Engage in various tasks within thedevelopment team, providing exposure to different facets of the business.**
+ **Act as the subject matterspecialist for the Hotline Team, addressing related tickets and providingsupport.**
What YouBring (requirements)
+ **A Bachelor's Degree in ElectricalEngineering or equivalent experience is required, with coursework orprofessional background in power transmission, power generation, orelectrical machines.**
+ **Minimum of 5 years of electricalengineering experience, preferably in power generation, oil refinery, orsimilar industrial settings.**
+ **You have a proven track record towork independently and produce high-quality results within set deadlines.**
+ **Strong critical thinking skills andlogical problem-solving approach.**

+ **The expectation of at least 30%travel.**
+ **Applicants must be legallyauthorized for employment in the United States without the need forcurrent or future employer-sponsored work authorization. Siemens Energyemployees with current visa sponsorship may be eligible for internaltransfers.**
