    A Snapshot of Your Day

     

    You start your morning

    reviewing open purchase requisitions and converting them into purchase orders.

    You follow up on open commercial clarifications, check price validity, and

    engage with suppliers to resolve any PO-related questions. You support the strategic

    sourcing team by gathering supplier quotes, negotiating and identifying

    alternative suppliers.

    How You’ll Make anImpact

    + Handlea work-que and secure that POs are issued in due time.

    + Ensurea close partnership with Internal Customers (MRPCs, requisitioners) toensure customer care and early involvement.

    + Managea portfolio of suppliers, negotiate price increase requests, prepare RFQpacks, onboarding suppliers, run bidding processes, and conductnegotiations for medium Purchasing Volumes.

    + Contributeto implementation and ensure usage of globally defined methods, processesand systems to ensure high process efficiency and process compliance (e.g.compliant Purchase-to-Pay (P2P) process, Procurement guidelines, ITsystems).

    + SupportSupplier Management processes (e.g. qualification, selection, evaluation,development, classification); updating supplier evaluation systems toacquire and develop the best suppliers and ensure transparency and highprocurement quality.

    + Maintainrecords of all documentation, adherence of online purchasing and contractmanagement systems. Support and/or lead Procurement Business Planactivities.

    What You Bring

    + Bachelor'sDegree or equivalent experience in Procurement, Business, or Engineering.

    + 3+years of experience in Procurement like role.

    + Teammatewith the ability to also work independently to meet fixed deadlines, goalsand objectives!

    + Abilityto work in a complex, fast-changing global organizational environment

    + Strongnegotiation and analytical skills. Strong SAP experience.

    + Experiencein engineering or manufacturing environment is a plus.
