Weare strengthening the Engineering department within Distributed Global CustomerOperations!

As a Scope Lead, you

would start a typical day with organization of tasks to support multiple

concurrent projects. This lead position will review contracts, evaluate on time

delivery of engineering documents, review scope and identify gaps, coordinate

meetings for clarification of technical issues, mentor other specialists, and

provide reporting to direct manager and other leaders within the business!

HowYou’ll Make an Impact (responsibilities)

+ You incorporate SiemensEnergy design standards and guidelines, and adapt the assigned scope to meetproject-specific requirements, due to Customer Specifications,Regional/Statutory Requirements for the Installation location, and any otherSpecial Application Requirements

+ You support the ProjectManager in Internal and External meetings and operational activities, includingproduction planning, disposition and correction of non-conformances, andevaluation of supplier user documentation.

+ You apply sophisticatedknowledge in the assigned systems, manage assigned scope projects, workindependently, mentor others, and review/approve the work of team members inthis same job field.

+ You collaborate withboth local and global Siemens Energy Engineering, Project Management,Procurement, Quality, Manufacturing, and Installation teams in support ofproject execution activities.

+ You own the technicalscope for the project within your subject area, collaborating with others leadsin ensuring the overall package is compliant to our configuration plan andCustomer requirements.

+ You provide support toProposal Managers with requirements review, gap analyses to standard designs,and risk evaluation on aeroderivative and medium rotating equipment bids.

WhatYou Bring (requirements)

+ Master or Bachelor ofScience Degree in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering, or equivalent

+ Aeroderivative or MediumGas Turbine packaging experience a plus.

+ 10+ years of experiencewith design and specification of electrical and/or mechanical systems for gasturbines in compression and power generation applications.

+ Strong leadership andcommunication skills.

+ Applicants must belegally authorized for employment in the United States without need for currentor future employer-sponsored work authorization. Siemens Energy employees withcurrent visa sponsorship may be eligible for internal transfers.
