Be part of the Service Engineering Repair team supportingrefurbishment of turbine components such as blades, vanes and ring segments.Contribute to the development, qualification and continuous improvement ofcost-effective repair processes for Siemens Energy and external vendor shopsworldwide. and collaborate with New Product Design colleagues to support designreviews and Design for Repair (DfR) initiatives. By implementing innovativetechnologies and leading multi-functional project activities, you will helpextend component life, increase reliability and reduce refurbishment costs!
How You’ll Make an Impact
+ **Driveand coordinate repair, mods and upgrades and Design for Repair(DfR) development and qualification projects (technical andtimeline responsibility)**
+ **Supportimplementation of new repair technologies (e.g. additive manufacturing),provide technical shop support and process related non-conformanceevaluations**
+ **Collaboratewith lifing & design engineering, quality and manufacturing to deliverrepair solutions**
+ **Ensuredocumentation, tracking, and communication of project breakthroughs, riskassessments/mitigations, and process qualifications**
+ **Contributeto cost-out initiatives and process improvements through structuredproject work**
+ **Workwith global teams and support knowledge transfer across regions**
What You Bring
+ **Bachelor’sdegree in Mechanical Engineering, Materials Science or related**
+ **Experiencein manufacturing processes, materials behavior, design for manufacturingand/or repair technologies is preferred**
+ **Proventrack record to handle technical projects including planning andcoordination with an affinity for digital tools and data-driven problemsolving**
+ **Experiencewith SAP and Mendix as well as basic programming or data analysis skills(e.g. Python, Excel VBA, SQL) are a plus**
+ **Strongorganizational and communication skills for multi-functionalcollaboration, proactive approach, customer-centric focus, structuredworking style and team-oriented approach**
+ **Willingnessto travel occasionally (up to 25%) for project and shop support activitiesand openness to international teamwork**
