    Automation Test Lead with Javascript and NodeJS (Onsite)

     

    Onsite Location: Plano, TX

    Qualifications

    • 8-14 years of development and/or test automation experience

    • Excellent programming skills in JavaScript/NodeJS

    • 3-5 years of experience in Playwright, Selenium and any API test automation framework (REST Assured, Karate etc.).

    • Knowledge of test automation design patterns and test automation framework development experience

    • Develop continuous testing pipeline using Jenkins or other CI tools

    • Develop QE vision and mission for enterprise quality engineering service

    • Knowledge of test automation estimation and engagement models

    • Strong leadership skills and good written and verbal communication

    Roles & Responsibilities

    • Crafting and implementing a comprehensive test automation strategy, including creating robust frameworks, selecting appropriate tools, defining best practices, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure efficient and scalable automated testing throughout the software development lifecycle

    • Manages the Automation Engineers, their workload and their pace.

    • Develop a partnership with the Tech Lead, Quality Lead and the Development Manager and actively participates in all application design and architecture meetings.

    • Evaluating the latest testing and technology tools, performing proof of concept of it and bringing the appropriate ones into the fold.

    • Verifies that tools are maintained and updated appropriately.

    • Performs Code reviews on unit, API, E2E and/or Application scripts and mentors TAD (Test Automation Developers) and Quality Analyst (scriptwriters) on technologies.
