    $2,000.00 Bonus = $1,000 after 90 days and $1,000 after 1 year

     

    1st Shift: Monday - Friday, 8:00am - 4:30pm

     

    Total Compensation: $24.00/hr

    Position Overview

    The Warehouse Associate has the responsibility of driving a forklift and using a scanner to accomplish the shipping and receiving of products. Demonstrates Mustad values, showing respect for and engagement with co-workers, especially as they contribute to a quality product and organizational success.

     

    Essential Job Functions ( required duties and responsibilities)

     

    To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.

     

    + Loads and unloads trucks and containers using forklift

    + Drive forklift and accurately pick and pack high-volume orders for shipment, both in parcels and on pallets

    + Uses hand scanner for performing warehouse management system activities

    + Performs receiving and locating of product, makes replenishments of stock locations, including making necessary rotation

    + Follows all safety and SOP regulations and procedures, including Mustad Performance System (MPS)

    + Maintains clean and safe warehouse environment

    + Provides other support as requested

    E ducation, Experience, and Skills Requirements

    + Ability to read, write and speak English

    + HS diploma or GED preferred

    + 1+ year of warehouse/shipping/receiving experience, with use of WMS/scanning system

    + Ability to work in fast paced environment

    + Forklift experience

    Desirable Skills/Attributes ( preferred but not required)

    + Computer proficiency in MS Office platform

    Physical Demands

    + Continuous sitting on and operating a forklift

    + Frequent standing, walking

    + Use of hands to repeatedly grasp, push, pull and perform fine manipulation

    + Bend, squat, crawl and reach, sometimes above shoulder level

    + Specific vision requirements for this position include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and the ability to adjust focus

    + Lifting up to 50 lbs

    Work Environment

    + Warehouse setting

    + Exposure to heat, humidity, dust fumes, gases, toxic/caustic chemicals, airborne particles

    + Exposure to moderately loud noise

    + Exposure to significant forklift traffic throughout the warehouse
