Summary This position is located at Animal Boarding Facility, Fort Bragg, NC. Army NAF paysetting rules apply to this vacancy. Responsibilities Serve as the lead point of contact for the day-to-day front office operations of a veterinary clinic. Coordinates with clinic management to establish clinic schedule and appointment availability. Loads schedules into AVImark Practice Management System. Opens and secures the clinic and pharmaceuticals daily. Processes and verifies cash flow transactions and deposits and balances daily/weekly/monthly reports. Prepares and distributes client/patient correspondence and corresponds with civilian and military veterinary clinics regarding confidential client/patient information. Distributes and balances workload among lower level clerks in accordance with established workflow. Conduct on the job training to lower level clerks and new employees in accordance with established procedures and practices. Performs other related duties as assigned. Requirements Conditions of Employment Qualifications Minimum Qualifications: Progressively work experience which demonstrates the knowledge and skills required to perform the duties of the position. Basic computer skills to include proficiency in Microsoft Suite or equivalent. Experience in using a point of sales software. Basic arithmetic expertise to balance cash draw, accept payments and provide change accurately. Typing proficiency - 40WPM. Preferred Experience: Clerical experience in a Veterinary Clinic or equivalent or working in an outpatient medical facility/operations as clerical-administrative support.
