**SALARY:** $56,000 - $64,000, bonus eligible
SHIFT:
+ Days, nights, weekends, and holidays are required.
+ 8-12+ hour shifts.
+ 40-45 hours per week average.

**ROLE SUMMARY:** The Shift Manager will be accountable for the coordination and oversight of all daily shifts. The Shift Manager manages people and ensures all patrons and employees have a high-quality experience. The Shift Manager may act as GM in his/her absence and assist in sales/cost analysis, performance management, food quality, customer satisfaction, and cleanliness/sanitation.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
+ Manage scheduling & daily FOH staffing levels based on business needs (including cut shifts and/or move staff as needed).
+ Manage all opening & closing procedures.
+ Control cash and other receipts by abiding by all company policies and procedures.
+ Complete performance documentation for staff.
+ Assist GM in all aspects of onboarding / offboarding team members.
+ Assist with ordering & inventorying all FOH supplies and goods needed.
+ Ensure that food is served at a high quality, and that recipes are abided by.
+ Make sure that employees are consistently adhering to cleanliness and sanitation standards.
+ Collaborate with other internal departments, like the marketing team, to execute promotions, get assets, and execute large brand events on site.
+ Fully understand and adhere to all federal, state, and local regulations pertaining to health and safety. Manage relevant paperwork in a timely manner.
+ Collaborate with BOH Manager ensuring quality of food and menu execution oversight.
+ Ensure that guests feel welcomed upon arrival and throughout experience.
+ Tactfully deal with difficult customers and manage guest complaints.
+ Assist service team when necessary.
+ Other duties as assigned.
JOB QUALIFICATIONS:
+ Any combination of education and experience equivalent to graduation from high school and 3 years of food and beverage/restaurant experience.
+ At least 2 years’ experience in a supervisory/management role in food & beverage, restaurant and/or hospitality is preferred.
+ Basic to intermediate knowledge of office-related software and experience with variety of POS systems is required.
+ Experience with other hospitality specific software and systems is preferred.
+ Virginia Driver’s License
