**EchoStar** has an exciting opportunity for a **Director Product Management- Mobility** in our **Hughes Network Systems division** . Hughes is seeking a dynamic and experienced product leader to join the mobility team. This team member plays a pivotal role in evaluating technology, defining product strategy, and developing product roadmaps for our Aviation and Mobility business.

This position can be located at either our **Germantown, MD** or **Lisle, IL,** office.
Responsibilities:
+ Define and drive the product vision, strategy, and multi-year roadmap for mobility solutions spanning hardware, software, and services. Develop and communicate a clear, actionable plan in line with company goals and market needs.
+ Lead and mentor a team of product managers, providing direction, feedback, and development opportunities.
+ Develop and own the process to prioritize product initiatives based on business value, customer impact, and technical feasibility.
+ Own and manage product roadmaps, ensuring alignment with the company's strategic objectives, market trends, and customer feedback.
+ Manage the product life cycle from concept to obsolescence.
+ Manage the creation of go-to-market strategies, product documentation, internal training to effectively communicate the value of the products.
+ Leverage knowledge of satellite communication systems to guide product design, development, and integration. Collaborate closely with R&D and engineering teams to ensure technical feasibility and alignment with market needs.
+ Evaluate emerging technologies, conduct market research, and assess competitive products to inform product selection and ensure our offerings remain innovative and competitive.
+ Manage strong relationships with customers, aircraft manufacturers, vendors, partners, and key stakeholders, providing regular updates and ensuring their needs and expectations are met.
Basic Requirements:
+ Bachelor’s degree in engineering, aerospace, business administration, or a related field.
+ 12+ years of relevant work experience.
+ Prior experience managing all phases of the aviation product lifecycle, including product research, design, development, testing, certification, production, maintenance and support.
+ Experience managing complex products across their full lifecycle, particularly in aviation or connectivity-related industries.
• **Preferred Qualifications:**
+ Master’s degree in engineering, aerospace, business administration, or a related field.
+ Strong knowledge of in-flight entertainment and connectivity systems and satellite communication technology.
+ Exceptional leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
+ Ability to influence a variety of stakeholders to establish concurrence.
Will be eligible for discretionary bonus, with funding based on company performance.
The base pay range shown is a guideline. Individual total compensation will vary based on factors such as qualifications, skill level and competencies. Candidates need to successfully complete a pre-employment screen, which may include a drug test and DMV check
