We are looking for a QA Technician to join our Nutrition & Health team in Bishop, TX.

As a valued member of Bishop Quality Assurance (QA) team, you will be reporting to the Bishop QA/QC Manager, while being responsible for implementing QA systems that help to ensure product quality and regulatory compliance to current Good Manufacturing Practices (cGMP). In addition, you will ensure compliance with regulations by performing Equipment Inspections to ensure cleanliness.

During your 8-hour shift as a QA Technician, you will be

+ Reviewing batch record documentation, including manufacturing and packaging records, and laboratory data for cGMP compliance and completeness.

+ Conducting periodic inspections of production units, laboratories, and warehouses, assessing documentation, equipment, and shipping containers.

+ Performing physical inspections of operational equipment to ensure cleanliness while working at various elevations, requiring the climbing of stairs, walking on metal walkways, and grating, use of scaffolding, etc.

+ Utilizing software applications (e.g., MS Office, SAP) to document product compliance, generating Certificates of Analysis, and maintaining audit documentation.

+ Providing cGMP guidance to ensure compliance with FDA regulations for active pharmaceutical ingredients and assisting in writing Standard Operating Procedures.

+ Performing non-conformance investigations, delivering cGMP training, and upholding workplace safety procedures and incident reporting.

+ Complying withsafety procedures such as Safe Work, management of change, good housekeeping and incident reporting/investigation.

If you...

+ Have two years of experience working in a cGMP/ISO 9001 regulated environment, with a preferred background in Quality Assurance or Quality Control

+ Hold a 2-year College Degree (4-year degree is preferred).

+ Possess strong verbal and written communication skills together with interpersonal skills and ability to deal with colleagues at various levels of the organization

+ Have 2 years of proven experience demonstrating proficiency with MS Office suite, and preferrably have experience using SAP.

+ Are able to work in confined space environments to perform vessel entries and equipment inspections to ensure cleanliness.
