Responsibilities:
+ This role is responsible for leading a team of Supply Chain staff consisting of data stewardship team members and supply chain associates.
+ The scope supports both project and set up of new supply chains and the ongoing management of existing supply chains in the DPEM team.
+ The Supply Chain Manager will report to the Associate Director of Supply Chain in the US.
Key Objectives/Deliverables:
Safety:
+ Support implementation of HSE initiatives and ensure safety goals are achieved.
People:
+ Lead a team of Supply Chain staff including Performance Management processes, development, regular 1:1 contact and coaching to meet individual and team goals.
+ Support Human Resources Processes (HRP) in DPEM, including recruitment and onboarding of staff in the US data stewardship and supply chain associate roles.
+ Support diversity in recruiting and development of team members, lead recognition and contribute to performance management processes.
+ Effectively encourage knowledge sharing and education within team and with key internal partners: Operations, Quality Assurance, TS/MS and appropriate networks in Global Supply Chain.
+ Develop and grow supply chain knowledge to be consistent with DPEM business needs.
Make & Supply Medicine:
+ Plan and manage workload for supply chain Local Data Stewards and Supply Chain Associates in US based DPEM team. To include all data stewardship tasks for new and existing products, buying activities for Lilly items supplied to Contract Manufacturers and support logistics or customer service needs as required.
+ Support & follow MRP (Operational Standards for Supply Chain Excellence) processes in External Manufacturing, including business ownership for specified business processes across DPEM. Coordinate periodic performance reviews and annual assessments with DPEM Supply Chain team
+ Attend appropriate governance forums in both DPEM, and networks – S&OP, Metrics reviews and tracking of actions.
+ Support Supply Chain activities related to logistics interfaces for supply in and out of Contract Manufacturers
+ Support project teams and Joint Process teams with data management/buying resources as needed.
+ Build working relationships with selected Supplier Relationship Management teams for external suppliers.
+ Review and /or approve documents in DPEM quality systems as supply chain SME or delegate
+ Ensure financial tracking and inventory management processes are in place and managed in line with targets and reporting processes.
General:
+ Delegate for Supply Chain Associate Director as appropriate.
+ Contribute to monthly reporting and initiative tracking processes
+ Support Continuous Improvement initiatives and establish Leaders Standard Work for the role.
Relationships:
+ Supply chain functions in Lilly network
+ Finance business partners
+ DPEM team and wider External Manufacturing Organizations.
+ Lilly Global Supply Chain functions.
+ Lilly Supplier Relationship Management Teams.
Basic Qualifications
+ Bachelor`s Degree in Pharmacy, Chemistry, Engineering, Business Management, or similarly related fields.
+ 3+ years’ experience in pharmaceutical manufacturing environment.
Additional Skills/ Preferences
+ APICS certification
+ MRP (OSSCE) Class A experience.
+ Supply Chain experience- especially in Data management, Buying or related roles.
+ Good communication skills and appreciation of cultural diversity.
+ High learning agility.
+ Capability to work in a virtual and complex environment.
Additional Information
+ Shift is days, but off hours may be necessary to support operations.

Actual compensation will depend on a candidate’s education, experience, skills, and geographic location. The anticipated wage for this position is
$88,500 - $129,800
Full-time equivalent employees also will be eligible for a company bonus (depending, in part, on company and individual performance).
