    Job Title: Payroll Analyst

    Job Description

    We are seeking a Payroll Analyst/Specialist who will ensure timely and accurate preparation and delivery of payrolls while maintaining compliance with Federal and State tax regulations. This role is ideal for someone looking to gain valuable experience in a dynamic and high-impact environment, with potential entry into broader organizational opportunities.

    Responsibilities

    + Prepare and deliver timely and accurate payrolls.

    + Ensure payroll compliance with Federal and State tax regulations.

    + Assist in managing and maintaining relationships with third-party vendors.

    + Initiate and ensure accurate and timely system implementation of payroll process changes.

    + Network and collaborate with colleagues, third parties, and other departments to achieve business results.

    + Stay updated on technical aspects of payroll processes to identify system impacts.

    + Proactively identify process improvement opportunities and lead change initiatives.

    + Extract, verify, analyze, and present data for management decision-making.

    + Provide internal and external financial analysis and decision support.

    + Ensure compliance with internal controls requirements.

    + Lead or assist with special projects and global initiatives as required.

    Essential Skills

    + Advanced Excel skills, including formula creation, pivots, and macros.

    + Thorough knowledge of Payroll & Timekeeping systems and processes.

    + Knowledge of US payroll taxes and remittance.

    + Ability to work under pressure and balance multiple projects.

    + Developed computer skills, especially in Microsoft Excel.

    + Ability to lead small project teams and work independently.

    + Strong written and verbal communication skills.

    + Strong interpersonal and team-building skills.

    + Understanding of corporate/unit personnel policies and labor agreements.

    Additional Skills & Qualifications

    + Bachelor’s Degree in Business or Accounting required.

    + Prior Payroll/Timekeeping experience required.

    + Strong accounting background ; SAP knowledge preferred.

    + Strong knowledge of Banking/Taxes and Garnishment regulations.

    Pay and Benefits

    The pay range for this position is $29.00 - $31.00/hr.
