Overview
Join our Residential team in the dynamic role of Residential Specialist!
The Residential Specialist is responsible for administrative tasks within the residential program and projects from the Executive Director in accordance with Racker’s vision and mission.
Additionally the position will:
Directly report to Assistant Director of Residential Services
Complete projects as assigned by the Executive Director
Works collaboratively with residential team members and other staff of Racker
$22-$24/hour.
Responsibilities
+ Maintain records as required
+ Collect, track, and trend residential program outcome measurements
+ Collect, track, trend survey data related to state oversight agencies
+ Monitor plans of corrective action
+ Track and monitor review follow up
+ Coordinate internal audits including mock surveys
+ Perform administrative and clerical tasks as assigned
+ Monitor and verify daily billing for Residential Habilitation, Community Habilitation, and Group Day Habilitation services
+ Train management staff on various electronic systems
+ Assist Residential Accounts manager with administrative tasks as needed
+ Assist Training Coordinator with administrative tasks as needed
+ Understand and use perspectives and techniques of other team members in program design and daily activities
+ Utilize problem-solving techniques to resolve differences and come to conclusion with team members
+ Prepare reports as required by program standards
+ Order office supplies and coordinate arrangements for meetings and conferences as needed
+ Uphold standards of professionalism with regard to behavior and dress
+ Other duties as assigned
Qualifications
Education/Certification: Associates Degree Preferred
+ Prior clerical experience, compliance experience preferred; must have a valid New York State Driver’s license, and ability to meet approved Driver criteria.
Skills/Abilities: Excellent interpersonal and organizational skills; excellent communication skills; ability to prioritize and multitask high-volume work; proficiency with application software such as Microsoft Suite, Adobe, and Electronic Health Records.
Knowledge: Interest in and knowledge of developmental disabilities. Working knowledge of clinical terminology.
Physical Requirements: Ability to operate standard office equipment.
