Team Gilbert has an exciting opportunity for a highly motivated professional to fill the position of Parts Technician II . The Parts Technician II reports to the Parts Technician Lead and the Fleet Supervisor. The primary job duties of this position include:
+ Perform physical inventories of automotive equipment, medium-heavy-duty trucks, fire apparatus, specialty vehicles, and other related repair parts and supplies to reconcile physical counts with inventory records.
+ Conduct training and research on specialized equipment and fire apparatus for repairs and maintenance.
+ Manages quality control of work orders for repairs, service, and warranty items.
+ Manages all return parts and warranty-related issues.
+ Reconcile monthly vendor statements with invoices processed.

This position has been designated as a Medium work position that spends much of their workday in a warehouse environment. About You

+ High School Diploma or equivalent (G.E.D.).
+ 2 years of experience in managing and handling automotive and heavy equipment parts and supplies, managing inventory systems and reports, assisting in tracking and reporting repair and operating costs, researching and procuring specific parts, establishing and maintaining relationships with vendors, sales, technicians, and Town personnel.
+ Any equivalent combination of experience and training provides the knowledge and abilities necessary to perform the work.
LICENSING/CERTIFICATIONS:
+ Valid AZ Driver's License
+ Complete a valid Forklift Operator Training Program within six months of hire or promotion.
This position is an At-Will position and is FLSA Non-Exempt - eligible for overtime compensation.
