Job Title: Water Process Engineer

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Water Process Engineer to join our environmental engineering team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in water and wastewater treatment infrastructure, including pipelines, pump stations, and treatment plant design. This role involves engineering design, project management, field inspections, and technical reporting. You will work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams to deliver innovative and sustainable water solutions.

Key Job Responsibilities:

+ Perform engineering work related to water and wastewater treatment infrastructure, including pipelines and pump stations.

+ Develop engineering designs, technical reports, plans, specifications, and cost estimates.

+ Conduct permitting and alternative analysis for water and wastewater projects.

+ Perform field inspections and testing to ensure compliance with plans and specifications.

+ Assist in the preparation of technical memoranda, reports, and electronic deliverables.

+ Conduct data entry and analysis; participate in field activities such as site investigations and pilot testing.

+ Collaborate with clients and internal teams to manage project deliverables and timelines.

Basic Qualifications:

+ Bachelor’s degree in Civil or Environmental Engineering.

+ 6 to 12 years of experience in wastewater design within environmental consulting.

+ Registered Professional Engineer (PE).

+ Demonstrated expertise in hydraulics, physical, chemical, and biological treatment processes.

+ Strong understanding of drinking water codes and regulations.

+ Proficiency in water treatment plant design principles.

+ Knowledge of structural and geotechnical design concepts.

+ Familiarity with analytical laboratory techniques.

+ Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

+ Proven ability to work effectively in a team environment.

Preferred Qualifications:

+ Master’s degree in Civil or Environmental Engineering.

+ Experience with AutoCAD.

+ Proficiency in water and sewer hydraulic modeling software.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $100000.00 - $120000.00/yr.
