    Job Title: Chemist

    Job Description

    + Plan, perform, and complete analytical projects under direct or general supervision.

    + Conduct method development, feasibility studies, method validation, and method transfer activities.

    + Independently perform laboratory tests to determine physical and chemical characteristics of samples.

    + Analyze data and interpret results with minimal supervision.

    + Operate, calibrate, and maintain laboratory instruments including but not limited to:

    + HPLC, GC, Dissolution, Disintegration, IC, TLC, Titration, Specific Rotation, KF, FT-IR, LOD, Friability, UV/Vis, ICP, MS, CVAA.

    + Utilize data acquisition and instrument operating software (e.g., Turbochrom, Cerity, WinLab).

    + Begin to perform technical assessments and contribute to troubleshooting efforts.

    + Ensure compliance with standard laboratory practices, procedures, and regulatory requirements.

    + Exercise sound judgment and a degree of independence in daily tasks.

    + Perform other duties or special projects as assigned.

    Responsibilities

    + Prepare, make, and test batch and finished products.

    + Perform routine and non-routine testing to identify and resolve quality or stability issues.

    + Serve as the main technical representative for select accounts.

    + Respond to client emails and participate in status phone calls.

    + Oversee product and sampling requests from ideation to production.

    Essential Skills

    + Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Chemistry, Pharmaceutical Sciences, or a related field.

    + 1–3 years of relevant laboratory experience preferred.

    + Strong understanding of analytical chemistry principles and laboratory techniques.

    + Familiarity with cGMP, ICH guidelines, and regulatory expectations.

    + Excellent organizational, analytical, and communication skills.

    Pay and Benefits

    The pay range for this position is $60000.00 - $60000.00/yr.
