Program Manager – Medical Device Product Development

About the Role:

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Program Manager to lead the execution of one or more simultaneous product development programs. This role is critical in driving cross-functional teams toward successful new product introductions in the medical device space. The ideal candidate will bring strong leadership, project management expertise, and a passion for innovation in healthcare technology.

Key Responsibilities:

+ Lead and manage multi-departmental product development projects from concept through commercialization.

+ Own program cost, schedule, and performance metrics.

+ Develop and maintain detailed project plans, timelines, and deliverables.

+ Coordinate cross-functional teams to ensure alignment with project goals and customer needs.

+ Facilitate core team meetings, issue agendas, and track action items.

+ Identify and resolve resource or performance issues within the team.

+ Develop and implement recovery plans for off-schedule or unexpected challenges.

+ Ensure compliance with ISO 13485 and other regulatory standards.

+ Oversee prototype fabrication, testing, and evaluation.

+ Collaborate with vendors for sourcing components, equipment, and services.

Required Skills & Experience:

+ Proven experience in project management within the medical device industry.

+ Strong background in new product development (NPD) and new product introduction (NPI).

+ Familiarity with ISO 13485 and regulatory requirements.

+ Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills.

+ Ability to drive teams toward excellence in analysis and decision-making.

+ Hands-on experience with engineering processes, testing, and product evaluation.

Preferred Qualifications:

+ Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Life Sciences, or related field.

+ PMP certification or equivalent is a plus.

+ Experience with cross-functional team leadership in a regulated environment.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $110000.00 - $115000.00/yr.

This is a fully onsite position in Minneapolis,MN.
