    Job Title: Safety ManagerJob Description

     

    Join our dynamic Safety Team to ensure a safe and secure working environment on construction sites. As a Safety Manager, you will play a pivotal role in upholding our corporate vision and ethics, fostering positive relationships with project staff and subcontractors, and enhancing our safety programs.

    Responsibilities

    + Perform all functions and responsibilities in partnership with the company's culture, corporate vision, ethics, and code of conduct.

    + Build positive working relationships with the Safety Team, project and jobsite staff, and subcontractor safety representatives.

    + Contribute to the development and enhancement of the overall project safety program.

    + Manage time and resource allocation to provide safety leadership to assigned projects.

    + Strive for continued growth of professional knowledge and skills.

    + Provide coverage when other team members are absent.

    + Enforce safety programs and related policies, implementing corrective actions in compliance with regulations.

    + Aid project management personnel to ensure compliance with safety, accident, and fire programs.

    + Stop unsafe practices, train correct behavior, and recommend disciplinary actions.

    + Hold pre-construction planning meetings to review site safety programs and job hazard analysis.

    + Provide technical and administrative direction to on-site safety personnel.

    + Involve in OSHA inspections and follow-up activities.

    + Conduct accident/incident investigations and research safety topics.

    + Conduct weekly jobsite audits and bi-weekly safety meetings.

    + Train employees using company safety and hazard awareness programs.

    + Evaluate training needs and make recommendations.

    + Perform jobsite inspections and prepare reports.

    + Review safety documentation for accuracy and completeness.

    + Track and identify safety trends.

    + Maintain job site specific safety administrative files and records.

    + Collaborate with internal teams, contractors, and stakeholders.

    Essential Skills

    + Minimum 7 years dedicated solely to building construction safety.

    + Minimum 5 years of construction safety process management experience.

    + Minimum 3 years of field experience in safety.

    + OSHA 500 or OSHA 502 training.

    + Bilingual capabilities.

    + Experience with site safety and general contracting.

    Additional Skills & Qualifications

    + Attention to detail and high level of accuracy.

    + Ability to organize and prioritize responsibilities.

    + Strong problem-solving, documentation, research, and resolution skills.

    + Excellent verbal and written communication.

    + Proficiency in Microsoft applications.

    + Ability to function as an integral team member, work under time constraints, and meet deadlines in a changing environment.

    + Ability to take initiative and work independently with minimal supervision.

    + Embodies personal integrity and keeps confidences.

    + Ability to enhance relationships through interactions.

    Work Environment

    Pay and Benefits

    The pay range for this position is $83000.00 - $104000.00/yr.

     

    This includes insurance coverage for medical, dental, vision, life, and disability. We also provide generous retirement plans, voluntary benefit plans, parental leave, substantial paid time off, and holiday pay.

     

    Workplace Type

     

    This is a fully onsite position in Saint Paul,MN.
