Job Title: ADAS Algorithm Engineer
Job Description
As an ADAS Algorithm Engineer, you will develop, design, implement, test, and debug algorithms for automotive embedded electronic module serial production projects. Your role involves verifying algorithms at the component and bench level, analyzing defects and test results, and ensuring KPI achievement by identifying issues and designing improvements. You will support other functional disciplines with all aspects related to ADAS algorithms and perform work assignments independently, requiring design, implementation, and testing of ADAS software algorithms while ensuring compliance with safety regulations.
Responsibilities
+ Develop, design, implement, test, and debug ADAS algorithms for automotive embedded electronic module serial production projects.
+ Verify algorithms at component and bench level.
+ Analyze defects and test results to ensure KPI achievement by identifying issues and designing algorithm improvements.
+ Support other functional disciplines with all aspects related to ADAS algorithms.
+ Perform work assignments independently, requiring design, implementation, and testing of ADAS software algorithms.
+ Ensure compliance with safety regulations and maintain regular attendance.
Essential Skills
+ Bachelor's degree in mechanical, automotive, computer, software, electrical engineering, or equivalent.
+ Relevant experience in automotive algorithm development
+ Experience working on a system with at least one ADAS sensor (camera/radar/lidar).
+ Experience working on at least one ADAS feature (e.g., ACC, AEB, TSR, APA) in the industry.
+ Experience developing feature state machines following model-based design (MBD) guidelines.
+ Experience deploying ADAS algorithms in vehicles, addressing embedded system issues, and testing and tuning the algorithm to achieve desired KPIs.
+ Theoretical and hands-on experience in control systems and their implementation in ADAS systems.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
+ Master's degree in mechanical, automotive, computer, software, or electrical engineering, or equivalent.
+ Experience working with Vector tools like CANape, CANoe, etc.
+ Knowledge of embedded software development in C/C++.
+ Experience with ASPICE.
+ Troubleshooting and debugging skills, along with knowledge of structured problem-solving methods.
Work Environment
The position is fully on-site You will be part of the ADAS Team working closely with the ASI (Active Safety Integration) Team.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $43.75 - $48.43/hr.
