Job Title: Certified Medical Assistant
Job Description
We are seeking a Certified Medical Assistant to join our dynamic healthcare team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in supporting dermatologists and ensuring high-quality patient care through a variety of clinical and administrative tasks.
Responsibilities
+ Room patients and document all vital information accurately.
+ Scribe information for the dermatologist during consultations.
+ Provide post-operative wound care to patients.
+ Draw blood and perform suture removal.
+ Clean and stock exam rooms efficiently.
+ Schedule patient appointments and manage the calendar.
+ Assist dermatologists with surgical photographs, biopsies, and patch testing.
Essential Skills
+ Active CMA certifications.
+ Several years of hands-on experience as a Medical Assistant.
+ Certified Medical Assistant, Licensed Practical Nurse, or Registered Nurse qualification is strongly preferred.
+ Proficiency in medical terminology and patient intake procedures.
+ Experience in appointment scheduling and delivering excellent customer service.
+ Proficiency with Microsoft Office and Electronic Medical Record systems.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
+ High School Diploma.
+ 1-2 years of recent experience in a medical office in a similar capacity is preferred.
+ Current state certifications, licenses, and/or registrations.
+ Willingness to travel to other clinic locations as needed.
+ Strong organizational and communication skills.
+ Ability to multi-task, prioritize, and work effectively both individually and as part of a team.
Work Environment
The position offers competitive hourly rates depending on certification status. Work hours are Monday through Friday, from 7:30 am to 5:00 pm.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $21.00 - $21.00/hr.
