    Job Description

    We are seeking a skilled Civil Drafter to create specialized drawings using AutoCAD Civil 3D. The role involves drafting construction plans, including grading plans, site plans, and erosion control plans, as well as drafting ALTA and topographic surveys. You will generate surface modeling and work closely with civil engineers to understand project requirements and develop appropriate drafts. It is essential to ensure all drafts comply with industry standards and governmental regulations.

    Responsibilities

    + Create specialized drawings utilizing AutoCAD Civil 3D.

    + Draft construction plans including grading plans, site plans, and erosion control plans.

    + Draft ALTA and topographic surveys.

    + Generate surface modeling.

    + Work closely with civil engineers to understand project requirements and develop appropriate drafts.

    + Ensure all drafts comply with industry standards and governmental regulations.

    Essential Skills

    + Proficiency in Civil 3D.

    + Experience with drafting ALTA and topographic surveys.

    + Ability to independently work on drafting projects.

    + Experience in land/site development, surface modeling, grading plans, and civil engineering.

    Additional Skills & Qualifications

    + 3 to 5 years of relevant experience if local. Must be very experienced to work fully remote.

    + Associate's Degree preferred.

    Work Environment

    The role offers an opportunity for overtime and potential for profit sharing once direct. You will have professional advancement opportunities and work on a diverse portfolio of residential and commercial projects. Remote work may be entertained after a brief in-office period. You will work alongside engineering and surveying teams to collaborate on surveying projects.

    Pay and Benefits

    The pay range for this position is $25.00 - $40.00/hr.
