    Job Title: Electrical Engineer I

    Job Description

    Join a dynamic team as an entry-level Electrical Engineer supporting projects in Lanham, Maryland. This role offers an excellent opportunity for recent graduates with a degree in Electrical Engineering to gain hands-on experience and grow in a long-term position.

    Responsibilities

    + Prepare field notes and drawings.

    + Design and prepare construction orders related to overhead and underground facilities with electric distribution systems.

    + Prepare CAD design and construction drawings.

    + Contribute to the preparation of cost estimates, specifications, evaluation, and requisitions.

    + Perform engineering calculations such as pole loading, guying, transformer sizing, conductor loading, load studies, and voltage studies.

    + Act as a point of contact for landowners or their agents to negotiate agreements regarding Rights of Way for proposed utility equipment.

    Essential Skills

    + Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering.

    + Driver's License and reliable transportation.

    + Ability to commute to Lanham, MD office.

    + Proficiency in electrical design and AutoCAD.

    Additional Skills & Qualifications

    + Experience with GIS systems.

    + Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

    Work Environment

    The position requires in-office or on-site presence, currently set at three days in the office and two days remote. This may shift to more in-office days as efforts are made to enhance office culture. The work environment is collaborative, offering stability and professional growth opportunities.

    Pay and Benefits

    The pay range for this position is $25.00 - $35.00/hr.
