    Description

    The Principal Software Engineer will lead the development of embedded software for connectivity modules. This includes architecture design, implementation, validation, and lifecycle support. The role is central to company's strategy for reusable, scalable connectivity solutions. Key responsibilities:

     

    - Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define electronic control requirements.

     

    - Develop and document embedded software using C/C++ and assembly.

     

    - Conduct software testing, validation, and integration with hardware.

     

    - Support manufacturing and service teams with software implementation.

     

    - Lead design reviews and contribute to FMEA, DFM, and DFT analyses.

     

    - Develop tools for development, testing, and field support.

     

    - Stay current with industry trends

    Additional Skills & Qualifications

     

    Bachelor’s in Computer/Electrical Engineering or related field.

     

    7+ years of experience in embedded software development.

     

    Proficiency in C/C++, assembly, and real-time multi-threaded systems.

     

    Experience developing connectivity modules with analog/digital integration and protocols like SPI, UART, RS485, Ethernet, BLE, and WiFi.

    Pay and Benefits

    The pay range for this position is $50.00 - $65.00/hr.
