Responsibilities Development of reports, summaries, policies, and procedures, and other correspondence to track performance, budget, and standardization requirements and/or submissions. Advises in the development of policy, procedures and other guidance related to management program areas across a Global Enterprise. Provides general support to clinic administrative and leadership personnel across multiple subject areas. Analyzes statistical data to determine validity of information, identify problems and trends; resolve various issues analyzes and provides completed product; ensure sufficient internal control measures and mechanisms are in place and in use. Reviews operations and recommends corrective actions as necessary to ensure activities are managed and operated on a sound financial basis, are in compliance with policy, and are consistent with standardization initiatives. Performs comparative analyses of activities to each other, budget, and / or industry best practices, and develops reports to outline opportunities to support enterprise decision making. Requirements Conditions of Employment Qualifications Minimum Qualifications: One year specialized experience directly related to the duties described above. Equivalent combinations of education and experience may be substituted for specialized experience that demonstrates the knowledge, skills, and abilities necessary to do the work. In addition, knowledge of principles, concepts, and methodologies required to perform various analytical techniques. Ability to analyze operations and financial data and to prepare reports and replies to inquiries. Knowledge of basic business financial and operating reports. Strong written and oral communication skills, including comprehensive knowledge of and demonstrated ability with standard office software programs such as databases, spreadsheets, word processors, graphics, etc. Highly Preferred Criteria: More than one (1) year experience in a Central Fund or other Veterinary Practice or MWR facility responsible for fund operations such as daily report review/submission, monthly report submission, income statement review, etc. Experience using Microsoft Office products with special emphasis on Excel, Word, and PowerPoint. One year experience in veterinary practice with basic understanding of wellness packages and vaccination protocols. The information provided on your resume should be clear and specific. Education Additional Information Area of Consideration: The Area of Consideration for this vacancy announcement is Bexar County, Texas. (Military Spouse Preference (MSP) and Involuntarily Separated Military Preference (ISMP) eligible candidates are included in the area of consideration). Salary Information: NF-04 $60,000pa to $70,000pa PCS Costs Payment Permanent Change of Station (PCS) costs are not authorized, based on a determination that a PCS move is not in the Government's interest. Pay-Band (NF or CY) Allowances and Differentials This is a pay-banded position. Sunday premium pay may be authorized by the Garrison Commander. If authorized, only regular (full-time, part-time, limited tenure and seasonal) employees may be paid Sunday premium pay. When authorized, Sunday premium will be paid at the rate of 25% of the basic rate for all hours of non-overtime, when any part of the scheduled tour of duty is performed on Sunday (to a maximum of 8 hours per Sunday). Sunday premium will be paid at the rate of 25% of the basic rate for all hours of non-overtime, when any part of the scheduled tour of duty is performed on Sunday (to a maximum of 8 hours per Sunday). Night differential may be authorized by the Garrison Commander. When authorized, night differential will be paid at the rate of 10% basic rate for hours of non-overtime work performed between 1800-0600. Note: this position is not authorized for Sunday premium pay and night differential. Incentives and Bonuses Incentives will not be paid. Non-Foreign Overseas Allowances Non-foreign overseas allowances, cost of living (COLA), and differentials will not be paid, contingent upon eligibility.
