Job Description

The Asbestos Supervisor is responsible for overseeing asbestos abatement projects in compliance with government and other regulatory agencies. This role requires comprehensive experience in all facets of asbestos abatement, from initial containment through to final clearance.

Responsibilities

+ Supervise and execute asbestos abatement projects in accordance with regulatory guidelines.

+ Ensure containment procedures are properly followed for all projects.

+ Conduct final inspections to guarantee projects meet clearance standards.

+ Travel locally within the assigned region and occasionally out of state for project assignments.

+ Maintain and update asbestos certifications through in-house training.

+ Collaborate with other construction and environmental teams for effective project execution.

Essential Skills

+ Minimum 2-3 years of experience as an Asbestos Foreman.

+ Asbestos Supervisor Certification: AHERA 40-hour for supervisors.

+ OSHA 30 certification required.

+ California Driver's License.

+ Excellent leadership skills.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

+ Experience in lead abatement, restoration, or industrial cleaning.

+ Hazwoper 40 and Lead abatement certifications are a plus.

+ Strong reading and comprehension abilities.

Work Environment

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $58240.00 - $62400.00/yr.
