    Job Title: Assembler

    Job Description

    Join our dynamic and fast-paced assembly team where you will play a crucial role in the production process.

    Responsibilities

    + Assemble subcomponents and finished products, executing material processing with basic product and process knowledge.

    + Fit metal products using hand and power tools and operate overhead cranes

    + Lift and fit product together, requiring physical stamina to handle weights of 60lbs+.

    + Perform tasks involving lifting, standing, walking, and extending arms for prolonged periods.

    Essential Skills

    + Proficiency in using hand and power tools for assembly.

    + Ability to review assembly diagrams to determine parts and quantities needed.

    + Experience operating overhead cranes.

    + Mechanical skills for interpreting blueprints and schematics.

    Additional Skills & Qualifications

    + HS Diploma or GED is required upon permanent conversion; the company offers a GED program.

    + Physical ability to lift 50lbs+ (40lbs+ independently).

    + Capability to regularly walk, sit, and reach for extended periods.

    Work Environment

     

    You will work on a clean, organized, and expansive manufacturing floor with all sections clearly labeled based on materials and production.

     

    Openings on all 3 shift!

     

    + 1st shift hours are Mon-Fri 6AM to 2:30PM, with potential to work until 4:30PM when necessary.

    + 2nd shift hours are Mon-Fri 2:30PM to 11PM, with potential to work until 12AM when necessary

    + 3rd shift hours are Sun-Thu 10PM to 6:39AM with potential overtime on Friday afternoon

    This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Richmond, Virginia.

     

    Pay and Benefits

     

    The pay range for this position is $17.00 - $19.00/hr.
