Job Title: Production Associate

Job Description

The Production Associate position involves placing raw materials in specified order into a vat and positioning the vat under a mixer as per instructions. The role includes unloading products, performing data entry, and creating product labels. You will also dispense products into containers such as pails or tubes, cap them, inspect, and process for shipping. The job requires conducting quality checks, cleaning equipment, measuring, and weighing materials according to industry standards, and promoting continuous improvement in all functions.

Responsibilities

+ Place raw materials in specified order into a vat and position under mixer.

+ Unload product, perform data entry, and create product labels.

+ Dispense product into containers, cap, inspect, and prepare for shipping.

+ Perform quality checks and equipment clean-up.

+ Measure and weigh materials according to industry standards.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

+ High School Diploma or GED

+ 3+ months of manufacturing or machine operating experience preferred

+ Basic math and reading skills

+ Computer experience with Microsoft Word and Outlook

+ Experience from fast food or farm settings is considered

+ Ability to lift 50lbs and sustain prolonged standing

Work Environment

The work environment is organized yet dusty in the production area. Employees are treated as full-time staff, with opportunities for catered events and summer picnics. The dress code includes wearing long or short-sleeved shirts, steel toe boots/shoes, and full-length pants. Clothing should be intact without offensive slogans. Uniforms are provided for qualified positions at no charge.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Cannon Falls, Minnesota.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $19.75 - $20.50/hr.
