Job Description

This position involves sorting through returned boxes to identify which can be recycled and reused, while discarding those that cannot meet customer standards. The role requires physical stamina to lift up to 50 lbs.

Responsibilities

+ Sort through returned boxes to assess recyclability.

+ Pick out boxes suitable for recycling and reuse.

+ Dispose of boxes that cannot be reused.

+ Ensure adherence to quality control standards during sorting.

Essential Skills

+ Longevity at previous jobs.

+ Experience in production and general labor.

+ Ability to perform inspection and packaging tasks.

+ Experience in setting up and loading machines.

+ Quality control and assembly skills.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

+ 1+ year of manufacturing experience.

+ Ability to lift 50+ lbs consistently.

+ Capability to stand for 8-10 hours per day.

Work Environment

The role is based in a clean and organized facility, with a total of 50 employees on the shop floor. The position is on the 1st shift, from 6am to 2pm, with potential overtime, and offers $17/hr initially, increasing to $19/hr when direct.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $17.00 - $18.25/hr.
