    Job Title: Facilities Maintenance Technician

    Job Description

    The Facilities Maintenance Technician will work closely with the Production Maintenance – Facility Manager to administer and monitor the Building Automation System. This role involves routine preventive maintenance and troubleshooting of production support equipment, including HVAC systems, ensuring compliance with internal and external audits. The technician will also be responsible for training Facilities Maintenance Staff through hands-on and formal classroom sessions.

    Responsibilities

    + Perform general facilities maintenance, including repairs and alterations to buildings, such as carpentry, plastering, and painting.

    + Handle on-call duties on a rotating basis.

    + Maintain HVAC and support equipment for operational efficiency.

    + Execute corrective and preventive maintenance work orders.

    + Communicate effectively with internal and external customers.

    + Demonstrate leadership and trade skills in areas such as electrical, mechanical, carpentry, and plumbing.

    Essential Skills

    + Minimum of 3 years of experience in facilities maintenance in a GMP facility.

    + Valid boiler license (minimum Class C).

    + Experience with building automation systems (BMS), specifically Siemens.

    + Preventive Maintenance Platform experience, specifically Blue Mountain.

    + Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently with minimal supervision.

    + Excellent communication and teamwork skills.

    Additional Skills & Qualifications

    + GMP knowledge.

    + Troubleshooting skills in mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems.

    + PLC troubleshooting experience.

    + Ability to read schematics and blueprints.

    Work Environment

     

    The position is located in West St. Paul, MN, with a schedule of Monday to Friday from 9 AM to 5:30 PM. The work environment involves a rotating on-call schedule, where technicians are assigned to be on-call for a week at a time. The company provides competitive holiday pay and a continuing education plan with tuition assistance up to $5,250 per year.

    Pay and Benefits

     

    The pay range for this position is $62400.00 - $87360.00/yr.
