Job Summary
This job is responsible for performing special interventional diagnostic and therapeutic examinations of the heart and blood vessels under the direction of a licensed physician using radiologic imaging for guiding the procedure. Work includes but is not limited to (1) reviewing and/or recording pertinent patient history and supporting clinical data; (2) preparing patients for testing (3) using C-arms, fluoroscopy, and tomography to perform exams and procedures and obtain a record of data for interpretation by provider; (4) participating in cardiovascular and interventional radiology procedures.
Qualifications
Education/Work Experience Requirements
+ Graduation from an accredited school of Radiological Technology, and one year of recent related work experience which may be obtained through practical education/training; _OR_
+ Graduation from an accredited school of Cardiovascular Technology.
Licensure/Certification
+ Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist 1 (RCIS), with Cardiovascular Credentialing International (CCI) and license to practice in the state of Washington, _OR_
+ American Registry of Radiological Technologists (ARRT), and State of Washington Certification.
+ Current American Heart Association Healthcare Provider BLS Certification.
+ American Hearth Association ACLS certification required.
**Cardiovascular Technologist Cert:** Must possess Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist (RCIS) through Cardiovascular Credentialing International (CCI).
**Cardiovascular Technologist Non-Registered:** Employees who do not have RCIS (but otherwise meet the qualifications for the core job) must be assigned to this level, and they have six months from date of hire to obtain it.

Pay Range
$41.62 - $61.44 /hour
