    Job Title: Laser Operator

    Job Description

    Set up and operate lasers that cut a variety of flat sheet alloys. This includes adjusting laser power and assist gas pressures. Experience with Trumpf lasers is a plus. A full understanding of print reading and geometric tolerances and how they relate to the finished part is necessary. Understanding of CNC codes and programming is also advantageous.

    Responsibilities

    + Set up and operate laser machines for cutting flat sheet alloys.

    + Adjust laser power and assist gas pressures as needed.

    + Maintain and ensure the accuracy of laser operations.

    + Read and interpret prints and geometric tolerances to ensure precision in finished parts.

    + Ensure the quality and safety of operations.

    + Utilize knowledge of CNC codes and programming for efficient operation.

    Essential Skills

    + Experience in laser operation, especially with Trumpf lasers.

    + Ability to read and interpret prints and geometric tolerances.

    + Understanding of sheet metal fabrication.

    + Proficiency in using laser cutting equipment.

    + Knowledge of CNC codes and programming.

    Additional Skills & Qualifications

    + Experience as a Machine Operator.

    + Experience in Sheet Metal Fabrication.

    + Familiarity with press brake operations.

    The pay range for this position is $50000.00 - $65000.00/yr.
