Job Title: Production Worker

Job Description

The Production Worker is responsible for preparing final products for shipment by applying the proper hardware and labels according to customer specifications. This role also involves routine cleaning of all fabricated products after welding and before painting, ensuring they are ready for paint and shipping.

Responsibilities

+ Prepare products for shipment by adding appropriate hardware and labels.

+ Conduct routine cleaning of fabricated products post-welding and pre-painting.

+ Work with assembly tasks using hand and power tools.

+ Operate machinery and perform general labor tasks.

+ Read and understand blueprints for product assembly.

+ Use scan-guns and general computer skills in daily tasks.

+ Follow safety procedures and maintain a clean work area.

Essential Skills

+ Background in manufacturing.

+ Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

+ Proficient in using hand and power tools.

+ Experience with machine operation and packing tasks.

+ Ability to read blueprints.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

+ Experience with scan-gun technology.

+ General computer skills.

Work Environment

You will work in a manufacturing environment that can have high noise levels, dust, chemicals, oil, and grease. Conditions may vary from hot, cold, to humid. Shifts are available as follows: 1st shift is from 5am to 4:30pm, Monday to Thursday, with additional hours on Fridays. Be prepared to lift up to 25 pounds regularly and occasionally up to 100 pounds with assistance.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $16.00 - $18.00/hr.
