    Job Title: Production Process Coach

    Job Description

    These supervisors will oversee UAW employees within different areas of the plant. They will be responsible for 50-90 employees in the department, overseeing daily tasks and ensuring adherence to policies and procedures.

    Responsibilities

    + Supervise and manage 50-90 UAW employees within different areas of the plant.

    + Oversee daily tasks and ensure employees follow established policies and procedures.

    + Hold employees accountable for their work and performance.

    + Ensure the smooth operation of the production process.

    + Make quick decisions on the fly to address any issues that arise.

    Essential Skills

    + Previous supervision experience.

    + Experience supervising in a union environment.

    + Experience working within an Automotive environment, preferably with an OEM or tier 1 supplier.

    + Bachelor's degree.

    + Basic computer literacy, specifically with Excel.

    Additional Skills & Qualifications

    + BS Degree would be beneficial.

    + 3-5 years of supervision experience within an Automotive facility.

    + Recommendations from Ford Management employees would be a huge asset.

    + Strong soft skills and the ability to handle a fast-paced environment.

    + Thick skin and resilience in challenging situations.

    Work Environment

     

    Must be flexible with hours and shifts, as some employees work 60-70 hours per week. The environment is very fast-paced, requiring quick decision-making. Business casual attire is appropriate, including polo shirts and golf attire. This is a swing shift position, rotating every 3 months between A, B, and C crews. A crew production runs Monday-Thursday from 6am-4:30pm, B crew runs Tuesday-Friday from 6pm-4:30am, and C crew runs Friday/Saturday from 6am-4:30pm and Sunday/Monday night from 6pm-4:30am. Supervisors are expected to be present 30-45 minutes before the line starts and remain after production ends.

    This is a Contract position based out of Louisville, Kentucky.

     

    Pay and Benefits

     

    The pay range for this position is $24.00 - $30.00/hr.
