Overview
The VP, Project Services is responsible for representing the company's corporate commitment to brand consistency by providing the President and the Executive Committee with In-Progress performance reports of qualified or strategic projects and providing project teams with strategic planning, mobilization support, administrative processes, and installation techniques.
Responsibilities
+ Builds relationships within the organization by providing a communication conduit between the Business Units and the corporate support departments.
+ Operates and promotes the company's core values and lead by example.
+ Serves as a member of key committees in area of expertise and concentration.
+ Participates/works with departments to ensure goals and synergy is maintained throughout the organization.
+ Assists management in accumulation, organization, editing, and publishing of corporate operational processes and management tools in area of expertise and concentration.
+ Introduces, interacts, trains and encourages project teams with the implementation of corporate operational processes.
+ Oversees design, staffing, compliance, schedules, construction resources, budgets, and contractual commitments.
+ Develops strategic plans to support profit and growth.
+ Leads a team of subordinate construction project managers or directors who work with clients, architects, engineers, and other design personnel to deliver project plans, budgets, and schedules.
+ Ensures subordinate personnel have projects completed on time, within budget, and to specification.
Qualifications
+ Bachelor's degree.
+ 10+ years of relevant experience, including previous leadership role(s).
+ Experience in MEP/HVAC, construction and/or engineering industries
+ Effective verbal and written communication skills.
+ Detail-oriented and willing to tackle various ongoing projects in a fast-paced environment.
+ Versed in the industry and the Company's competitors.
+ Ability to multitask and perform duties outside of the scope of work when necessary.
+ Graduate degree in Business, Finance, or related field.
+ Bachelor's degree in STEM, Business, Finance, Economics, or related discipline required. MBA, CFA, or JD strongly preferred.
+ Quiet environment
+ Climbing stairs.
+ Remaining in a stationary position, often standing or sitting for prolonged periods
+ Repeating motions that may include the wrists, hands and/or fingers
+ Light work that includes adjusting and/or moving objects up to 20 pounds
+ 0-5% of the time will be spent traveling to the job site(s)/office locations.
