Facilities Maintenance Manager – 65k Starting Salary

**Job Description:** As a Facilities Maintenance Manager, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of our facility. This is a working manager role that requires experience in facilities management within hotels, apartments, hospitals, casinos, or similar environments. You will supervise a team of maintenance and HVAC professionals manage payroll, conduct performance reviews, and lead daily morning meetings to outline tasks for the day.
Key Responsibilities:
+ Supervise and direct the day-to-day functions of the Maintenance Department, including both day and night shifts.
+ Oversee the operation and maintenance of plumbing, HVAC, electrical, carpentry, and mechanical systems.
+ Ensure compliance with state and local codes for pools, waste treatment plants, boilers, fire protection systems, and elevators.
+ Utilize computer programs such as Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, and Building Automated System software.
+ Manage the Computerized Maintenance Management Software (CMMS) by updating, deleting, and confirming information on all equipment.
+ Troubleshoot and repair electrical, HVAC, plumbing, and carpentry issues.
+ Work within an approved budget, track progress, and provide input for future budgets.
+ Direct, coach, and supervise subordinates, establishing schedules and daily work lists.
+ Collaborate with the Expeditor to maintain critical parts and materials inventories.
+ Conduct timely performance evaluations of subordinates.
+ Ensure guest safety by being attentive to building conditions.
+ Research and provide information on facility improvements and capital projects.
+ Serve as a liaison between the Maintenance Department and internal/external guests.
+ Perform all other tasks assigned by the Facility Director.

Knowledge/Skills/Experience:
+ Proficiency in troubleshooting and repair of mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems.
+ A minimum two-year degree in a technical discipline.
+ At least 2 years of experience managing maintenance staff.
+ Basic computer skills.

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $65000.00 - $65000.00/yr.
