Field Service Mechanic
Job Description
You traveling throughout Northern Minnesota, North Dakota, and Northern South Dakota regions servicing equipment at packaging facilities such as FedEx, UPS, and Amazon. A typical workday might involve driving to a site, repairing equipment like conveyors or HVAC systems, and returning. Repairs can take 2-7 hours and may include welding if the candidate is capable.
The job involves overnight travel for 6 weeks per quarter, with the remaining 7 weeks spent at locations closer to St. Cloud, such as Brainerd, Alexandria
Overtime pay is provided after 8 hours each day.
Travel in a company truck alongside a team member, with the option to ride together from St. Cloud.
Responsibilities
+ Execute preventative maintenance at customer facilities, focusing on conveyors and replacing defective parts.
+ Align and test equipment to ensure proper functioning.
+ Adapt and custom fabricate solutions as needed.
+ Troubleshoot and track conveyor belts to meet facility specifications.
+ Fit bearings, align gears and shafts, attach motors, and connect couplings and belts with precise tolerances.
+ Use rigging equipment and dollies to position heavy machinery and parts.
+ Work with electrical sensors and assist with welding or fabrication if capable.
Essential Skills
+ Industrial maintenance previous experience is a must.
+ Experience with conveyor systems and maintenance.
+ Ability to troubleshoot and repair industrial equipment.
+ Knowledge of hydraulics and electrical systems.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
+ Experience with industrial packaging equipment is a plus but not required.
+ Welding and fabrication skills are beneficial.

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $28.00 - $33.00/hr.
