Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Feed Production Equipment Operator who will play a crucial role in the feed production process. The role involves operating and maintaining various mixing and manufacturing equipment to ensure efficient production of high-quality feed.

Responsibilities

+ Operate and maintain mixing equipment used in the feed production process.

+ Run equipment that mixes ingredients for feed production.

+ Operate pallet mills and ensure their smooth functioning.

+ Handle additional equipment such as baggers and sewing machinery.

+ Maintain cleanliness and good working order of all feed manufacturing equipment.

Essential Skills

+ 3+ years of production experience.

+ Prior experience in operating machinery on the job.

+ Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.

+ Experience in a leadership role is a significant advantage.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

+ Ability to perform physical work and stand for extended periods.

+ Comfortable working in hot, dirty, and dusty environments.

+ 3 years of industrial experience in a similar setting.

Work Environment

The work environment includes two shifts: 1st Shift from Monday to Friday (6am - 2pm) and 2nd Shift from Sunday to Thursday (10pm - 6am). The facility can be hot in the summer and cold in the winter, with a dusty and dirty atmosphere, making it essential for candidates to be comfortable in such conditions.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract position based out of Waterloo, Iowa.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $22.00 - $24.00/hr.
