    Process Controls Technician

    Job Description

    As a Controls Technician, you will work in a food manufacturing environment focused on producing drinkable yogurt. The facility is highly automated and maintains a semi-cold climate in most areas. The position requires evening shifts from 6:00 PM to 4:30 AM, with the option to work from Wednesday to Saturday or Sunday to Wednesday.

    Responsibilities

    + Perform routine maintenance and repairs on automated systems and machinery.

    + Conduct preventative maintenance to ensure equipment reliability.

    + Utilize PLCs for troubleshooting and system improvements.

    + Maintain a clean and organized workspace, adhering to all safety and sanitation protocols.

    Essential Skills

    + At least two years of experience in maintenance

    + Proficiency in working with Robotics, Automation, and PLCs.

    + Solid understanding of mechanical and electrical systems.

    Additional Skills & Qualifications

    + Experience in the food industry is preferred but not required.

    Work Environment

     

    The work environment is clean and spacious, with climate-controlled conditions except for the blow mold room, which is warm. Employees are required to wear hair nets, facial hair guards, shoe covers, and hearing protection. Attire exposed to chemicals or products will remain at the facility to comply with sanitation rules. You will work alongside up to 10 other individuals.

    Pay and Benefits

     

    The pay range for this position is $65790.00 - $65790.00/yr.
