    **Location:** Sumter, SC

    **Experience Level:** Intermediate

    **Pay:** $20-24/hr

    **Shift:** 1st shift, M-F

    Job Description:

    We are seeking a skilled Electro-Mechanical Technician to support the assembly, installation, commissioning, and servicing of advanced diamond wire saw systems at our facility in Sumter, SC. This hands-on role involves integrating complex electro-mechanical subsystems, performing final system assembly, and conducting rigorous testing and troubleshooting to ensure optimal performance and compliance with safety standards. ****This position does require occasional travel to Colorado Springs.**

    Key Responsibilities:

    + Assemble mechanical components and subassemblies with precision using hand and power tools.

    + Install and wire high- and low-voltage electrical panels per engineering schematics.

    + Integrate and configure PLCs, HMIs, servo drives, and automation components.

    + Perform basic programming and troubleshooting of PLCs, HMIs, and drives.

    + Conduct system testing and diagnose electrical, mechanical, and software issues.

    + Troubleshoot motor controls, sensors, and power distribution systems.

    + Collaborate with engineering teams to implement corrective actions.

    + Adhere to NFPA 70E, OSHA, and other safety standards, including PPE and lockout/tagout procedures.

    + Maintain detailed documentation of assembly processes, test results, and system configurations.

    Required Skills:

    + Mechanical and electrical assembly

    + Preventive maintenance and repair

    + Troubleshooting of automation systems

    + Familiarity with industrial safety protocols

    Qualifications:

    + Minimum 2 years of experience in automation, industrial machinery, or related fields.

    + Strong ability to read and interpret engineering schematics.

    + Experience working independently in high-precision environments.

     

    Pay and Benefits

     

    The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $24.00/hr.
