Job Title: Plastic Molding/Tool and Die Maker
Job Description
We are seeking a skilled Tool and Die Machinist who is mechanically inclined and experienced with setups. This role requires eagerness to learn new skillsets, as you may handle around three setups a day. You will work as a precision metal worker, crafting tools and metal forms for stamping and forging operations. Responsibilities include analyzing design specifications, cutting and shaping metal, assembling parts, and testing completed products for use in manufacturing facilities.
Responsibilities
+ Perform electrical and PLC troubleshooting and repair on various machines, including plastic extrusion, CNC machines, and custom-built manufacturing equipment.
+ Demonstrate strong electronics and electrical troubleshooting skills, including PLCs and some programming.
+ Repair mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems.
+ Read and interpret blueprints and schematics.
+ Assist in machine operating and other areas to learn the business and machinery involved.
Essential Skills
+ 5+ years in Tool and Die and/or plastic molding.
+ Experience as a Mills/CNC machinist for at least 5 years.
+ Proficiency in measuring (calipers) and checking parts.
+ Valid identification required to start.
+ Ability to work 10-hour shifts.
+ Eagerness to learn.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
+ Design and computer experience.
+ Experience in plastic extrusion.
+ Creativeness.

Work Environment
Our 83,000 square foot climate-controlled manufacturing facility is located in the heart of Oklahoma City, close to downtown. We provide indoor parking for employees. The facility houses 18-20 machines, including several custom-built ones, ensuring a dynamic and innovative work environment.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Oklahoma City, Oklahoma.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $25.00 - $32.00/hr.
