Job Title: Superintendent (Hospital Construction)
Job Description
We are seeking a detail-oriented and driven Superintendent to join our team. The Superintendent will be responsible for leading the team in the field, coordinating with subcontractors, and ensuring the project is completed on time within scope, at a high level of safety. This role specifically requires someone with previous Superintendent experience that has at least 3 Hospital Jobs on their resume with specific HCAI experience. The position is based out of Thousand Oaks, but requires work across Ventura County to LA. Most projects are located in the valley or north LA, with some upcoming projects at Dignity Health in Oxnard.
Responsibilities
+ Lead the field team and coordinate with subcontractors.
+ Ensure projects are completed on time, within scope, and maintain high safety standards.
+ Manage construction supervision, safety, hospital construction, and quality control.
+ Oversee commercial construction and general contractor duties.
+ Supervise subcontractor management and ensure compliance with safety standards.
+ Maintain a high level of professionalism and a strong emphasis on safety.
Essential Skills
+ **HCAI** or **OSHPD** experience in hospital construction.
+ At least three hospital-specific jobs as a Superintendent.
+ Willingness to work anywhere from LA to Ventura County.
+ Experience in commercial construction and subcontractor management.
+ Osha 30 certification in construction safety.
Work Environment
The work environment involves hospital construction focusing on interior upgrades, medical equipment, and patient rooms. Due to the nature of this work, a high level of professionalism and emphasis on safety is essential. Shifts vary and include day shifts from 6:00 AM to 3:00 PM or 7:00 AM to 4:00 PM, and occasionally a swing shift from 6:00 PM to 2:00 AM. The schedule typically runs from Monday to Friday with potential for Saturdays. Projects are located at hospitals such as CHLA, Glendale Adventist, White Memorial, Emanate Health, Valley Presbyterian, and Dignity Health Oxnard.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Thousand Oaks, California.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $36.00 - $55.00/hr.
