    Job Description

    Grundfos is looking for a Production Supervisor for our plant in Fresno, CA. The Production Supervisor will be responsible for the performance of the APU (Autonomous Production Unit) through task guidance, coaching, direction setting and motivation of the workforce. This position reports directly to the APU Manager and will operate daily out of our Fresno, CA plant.

     

    Relocation for this position cannot be supported and qualified candidates must be authorized to work in the U.S. without the need for employment-based visa sponsorship now or in the future. Sponsorship is not available for applicants for US Work visa status for this opportunity (no sponsorship is available for H-1B, L-1, TN, O-1, E-3, H-1B1, F-1, J-1, OPT, CPT or any other employment-based visa.

     

    **Your main responsibilities** :

    + Responsible for all employees on the shift, to include, but not limited to assembly, warehouse, logistics, testing and maintenance.

    + Make sure local EHS procedures are followed in the APU.

    + Support PPS and preventive actions.

    + Ensures the APU complies with the daily production plan.

    + Uses QRQC for quality deviations and ensures the correct countermeasure.

    + Applies Total Quality tools and Just In Time principles.

    + Ability to coach peers and make safety, quality, maintenance and process training to assist other departments while training staff to have the skill needed.

    + Responsible for SQDICP (Safety, Quality, Delivery, Inventory, Cost & People) for the APU.

    + Provide support to operations in case of a new production plan and in testing and implementing new products.

    + Responsible for the state and maintenance of machines in the APU and maintaining the 5s level.

    + Responsible for updated APU Totem board and efficient DAM meetings, and updated results and targets on APU Dam boards.

    + Effectively work with EMS results and deploy action plans to ensure motivation of APU.

    + Assist with the identification of hazards, risks, and environmental impacts associated with local work processes/tasks.

    + Help direct labor efficiency.

    + Participate in incident investigations and provide corrective actions and participate during reviews of Risk Assessments.

    + Ensure that workplaces and equipment are safe, well maintained, and in compliance with external agency regulations, safety policies, programs and practices.

    + Evaluate employees on compliance with safe work practices.

    + Conduct toolbox safety meetings are required.

    Your Background:

    We imagine that you have:

    + A High School diploma is desirable, but relevant work experience will be considered in lieu of degree.

    + A minimum of 5+ years of relevant work experience in leadership within a manufacturing environment.

    + Experience driving execution of processes preferably within production.

    + Proven leadership, technical competency in a manufacturing plant, collaboration and communication skills.

    + Proven ability to lead a group/or business process within production.

     

    In Fresno, CA the annual salary range for this position is $94,000-$120,000.

     

    Grundfos salary rates are benchmarked and reflect the target for new hire salaries for the position in Fresno, CA.
