The pay range is $71,000.00 - $128,000.00

Vendor Solutions – Sr. Knowledge Management Analyst (hybrid Mpls)
Primary Function
The Knowledge Management Analyst is expected to have extensive knowledge in multiple communication vehicles to support the knowledge sharing needs of Target with their vendor partners. The Knowledge Management Analyst will leverage their expertise to provide one on one support to deliver consistent on-brand communication, develop and execute training, test and document system development via agile methodology, and engage with TTS and Product Directors to help solve high severity systems issues.
Principle Duties and Responsibilities
+ Receive, review, edit and approve all published content on external (Partners Online) website and on-demand vendor communications, prioritize and escalate system issues, and create and deliver system and process training for content contributors.
+ Partner with business owners to understand and support their knowledge sharing goals and empower them to create and maintain usable, accessible and brand right content.
+ Work in tandem with product teams to provide process and system expertise to drive product development.
+ Leverage usage statistics and analytics to inform business owners and guide content management and search optimization decisions.
+ Consult across enterprise when knowledge management expertise is needed, often with legal and Records and Information Management
+ Utilize knowledge of content management and search optimization methods to reinforce standards to achieve intuitive navigation and maximize search results.
+ Develop writing standards and processes that define usable and compelling content while conveying a consistent brand message.
+ Identify future trends in knowledge sharing processes and tools, evaluating benefits and providing recommendations for implementation.
+ Elevates the Vendor Solutions brand through routine and thoughtful coaching and development of peers (systems, processes, data, customer service and team).

Desired Requirements
+ Strong understanding of content management, websites, and communication systems, the inter-relationship between them and technical aptitude.
+ Demonstrated ability to negotiate, engage with, and influence leaders.
+ Enthusiasm and a passion for knowledge management.
+ Strong analytical skills to help drive product development
+ Drives workload prioritization with product/project teams/advocates for clients’ needs with proven results.
+ Demonstrated ability to maximize relationships, collaborate and partner with others to meet objectives.
Requirements:
+ College degree; BA/BS in Journalism, Communication, or English preferred
+ 5+ yrs experience proofreading, editing/copy editing, and writing web content for non-technical professionals
+ Excellent spelling, grammar, punctuation, proofreading and editing skills
Desired:
+ Experience using and optimizing content management programs and internet search tools
+ Expertise in leveraging content management systems to curate, maintain, and distribute knowledge resources
+ 1-2 years retail experience; merchandising or merchandise vendor
