Position Overview:
Responsible for the development of standard work and consistent controls. This position works to document and align processes and best practices and ensures implementation of these processes through the development of comprehensive training programs. In addition to standard training, provides ongoing support, coaching and mentoring as needed. It is also the responsibility of this position to monitor compliance of established departmental process and procedures. Leads and manages special projects, and drives continuous improvement to departmental processes, while assuring compliance with Sutter Health Policy.
Has an awareness of work performed by the team (Construction Contract Management, Finance Management, Department Technology, Process Documentation/Improvement) and focuses primarily on Process Documentation/Improvement. Part of this role is to serve as a liaison to business partners across other Sutter Health departments, manage programs and processes related to the area of focus, and assist in the management of workload within the area of focus.

EDUCATION:
+ Bachelor’s or equivalent education/experience
+ BA in communications, business, or similar
TYPICAL EXPERIENCE:
+ 5 years recent relevant experience
SKILLS AND KNOWLEDGE:
+ Thorough understanding of project coordination/management, budgeting and scheduling concepts and procedures is required, as well as the process of project planning, design and construction.
+ Consultative skills to gather needs and translate requests into potential solutions.
+ Excellent verbal and written communication skills, management techniques and technical knowledge.
+ Experienced in project management from design through final completion and licensing on major California hospital projects must be demonstrated.
+ Ability to team with staff across multiple projects.
+ Demonstrated ability to manage and balance multiple interests and resolve conflicts.
+ The ability to work independently and as a team member and achieve designated goals and objectives are required.
+ Familiarity with computer software programs such as Meridian Prolog, Microsoft Word, Project and Excel is preferred.
+ Proficient with industry-recognized scheduling and estimating tools, processes and software.
+ Requires an emphasis on service and customer relationship management in accordance with leadership standards.

Pay Range is $53.59 to $80.39 / hour
_The salary range for this role may vary above or below the posted range as determined by location. This range has not been adjusted for any specific geographic differential applicable by area where the position may be filled. Compensation takes into account several factors including but not limited to a candidate’s experience, education, skills, licensure and certifications, department equity, training and organizational needs.
