A Beaker Analyst plays a critical role in supporting the clinical pathology (CP) laboratory operations through the implementation, maintenance, and optimization of the Beaker module within the Epic electronic health record system. This position requires a strong understanding of laboratory workflows, particularly in reference lab environments, to ensure seamless integration and functionality of laboratory information systems. The analyst collaborates closely with laboratory staff, IT professionals, and other stakeholders to gather requirements, configure system components, troubleshoot issues, and support ongoing enhancements. Experience with reference lab processes, including specimen routing, result interfacing, and third-party lab integration, is essential. The role also involves testing system changes, training end-users, and ensuring compliance with regulatory standards and institutional policies. Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to communicate effectively across multidisciplinary teams are key to success in this position.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $50.00 - $75.00/hr.
