• In-Country Radar Engineer

    Advanced Automation Corporation (Syracuse, NY)


    AAC (Advanced Automation Corporation) has a requirement for a Field Service Engineer to support in-country installation and testing activities for the upgraded TPS-43 radar system. This position will begin with on-site OJT at the OEM in Syracuse, NY then on-site in-country, which would last multiple months at a time. This position requires strong leadership abilities to represent the company and the OEM while working with a cross-functional in-country installation team.

    The chosen candidate will have the following duties and responsibilities:

    Responsibilities & Duties

     

    + Provide support for the assembly, test, and installation of upgraded TPS-43 radar systems in Pakistan.

    + Support system integration and testing.

    + Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support the in-country installation and training.

    + Provide technical support to production.

    Requirements

    Minimum

     

    + Experience troublr shooting hardware, software, and mechanical problems.

    + Knowledge of radar signal processing techniques.

    + Experience with antenna design and optimization.

    + Knowledge of electromagnetic compatibility and interference.

    + Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Physics, or a related field.

    + 5+ years of professional experience in radar system design and development.

    + Strong analytical skills and experience with simulation tools.

    + Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

    + Ability to work independently and in a team environment

     

    Preferred

     

    + Master's degree in Electrical Engineering, Physics, or a related field.

    + PMP
